Adorable video of curious pup enjoying Surrey fireworks during his evening walk
A young dog was utterly mesmerised by fireworks this November, during his evening walk. Haku, a 15-month-old American Akita, was walking with his owners, Matt and Tina around Addlestone when he spotted the explosions in the sky.
Haku stopped to take in the magic, clearly enjoying the stunning display. His owners were taken aback, and captured the adorable moment on video.
Tina said: "It was Haku's first time seeing the fireworks. He might have noticed them from afar or heard them before once. We've been taking him out from a bit further away to get him used to the sounds. We were a bit worried about it at first."

In the sweet video, Haku stops in his tracks to watch the fireworks while Mat holds on to the lead. Haku lifts his snout to watch the sky.
Some pets find firework night distressing, and choose to hide from the noise. They may also seek reassurance from their owners, and Tina did have concerns that Haku might be scared so took a very gentle approach introducing him to fireworks.
"He walked himself up to see the fireworks. He is curious and wants to know where sounds are coming from," Tina added, saying: "This week marks a year since we got Haku, we have had him since he was a puppy. Haku loves other dogs, he is sometimes a bit cautious of people but once he trusts you he loves you. He's been really good, we try to take him everywhere to socialise him as much as we can."
