Adriana Lima, Bella Hadid and Karlie Kloss join fellow models at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after party

While most of us were relentlessly scrolling through the runway galleries and reinstating our gym membership, yesterday's 55 Victoria's Secret models had taken off their wings and changed into something a little more comfortable - in most cases - for the annual after party.

Staged in Shanghai, this year's runway saw not only more models than ever, but also more themed sections and a much bigger audience of over 3,000 fans.

There were 88 different runway looks and 38 pairs of wings, while Elsa Hosk's Swarovski look amassed over 250,000 crystals and Lais Ribeiro's Fantasy Bra amounted to £1.5 million.

Joining the models - who originally hail from 20 different countries - was Harry Styles, who led the show's musical performances.

But once the catwalk had finished, the show was by no means over.

Stepping out moments later for the official after party, the models appeared to take inspiration from elements of the runway with sheer fabric and heavy embellishment a reoccurring feature.

Taylor Hill, Stella Maxwell, Leomie Anderson, Wang Yi and Nadine Loeopold all stunned in sheer dresses, while Sara Sampaio, Devon Windsor, Georgia Fowler and Romee Strijd wore looks with cut-out sections.

Most models plumped for a black or silver hue, but Bella Hadid bravely championed the hue that garnered her so many admirers at last year's Cannes Film Festival.

A red corseted bodice and wrap skirt, Hadid's after party look was one of the most directional with a double strap feature and thigh-high split.

Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge each wore altogether more modest looks, as did Alessandra Ambrosio who arrived at the party alongside 9-year-old daughter Anja.
