The Glass Fire continued to rage in Napa Valley, California, in early October, destroying at least 17 wineries in the world-famous region.
This clip from the CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit shows dramatic aerial footage of the fire burning near Bothe State Park on October 3.
Rising winds pushed the fire into the park for the first time on Saturday, though increased fire activity had been anticipated, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat reported.
The fire had burned over 63,000 acres, threatened over 21,000 structures, and was 17 percent contained as of October 4, CAL FIRE said.
