AEW's TBS Champion Jade Cargill has been busy running through the women's roster over the past year, ending 2022 still undefeated.

But towards the end of last year, Jade was also involved in a storyline with Bow Wow, which started after the rapper asked her out on Twitter in October.

Bow Wow had tweeted: "After my first win I just wanna take you out somewhere…. @Jade_Cargill," to which Cargill replied: "You can't afford me Bow. Thanks but no thanks."

Then in November, Cargill, along with Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan, confronted Bow Wow after he performed a concert in Miami, with the wrestler being taken away by security.

Things then seemed to ramp up between the wrestler and rapper on the November 30 edition of AEW Dynamite, when Bow Wow appeared via video during her TBS Championship celebration.

In the video, Bow Wow told Cargill: "Jade baby, you deserve all the flowers. Congratulations on your little win. It was cute. Really cute. But let's get down to business. Cause you know time is money and I'm all about money.

"I'm done with touring, got a lot of time on my hands. You know what that means? See you soon baby. Real, real soon."

But then weeks passed, and there was nothing more heard from Bow Wow. Now, speaking on the Bootleg Kev podcast, Cargill indicated that the storyline had been dropped.

"I don't know what happened with it," Cargill said. "Something was supposed to happen, it didn't happen, and we moved on from the situation."

On January 14 Cargill officially became AEW's longest-reigning champion in history when she hit 373 days as TBS Champion.

The record was previously held by Hikaru Shida who racked up 372 days as AEW Women's World Champion.
