The Affair is currently running through its final season, and it looks like we'll be getting a bit of a blast from the past before our final farewells.
Former series regular Catalina Sandino Moreno is due to return to the series as Luisa in episode seven, which airs on October 6 on Showtime in the US.
In the episode, Noah (Dominic West) and Whitney (Julia Goldani Telles) encounter Luisa while out shopping for a wedding dress.
The last time we saw her, Luisa and Cole (Joshua Jackson) admitted that their relationship was over – though agreed to stay married so that she could become a US citizen.
Morena departed the show ahead of its final season alongside fellow former cast members Jackson and Ruth Wilson.
The most recent episode of the show revealed Cole's fate in one scene that takes place in the future.

In the scene, we see the grown-up Joanie (Anna Paquin) visiting Cole's grave, which revealed that he passed away in 2053.
Jackson's exit as Cole came alongside Ruth Wilson's as Alison, who was killed off last season – and viewers are hoping that the truth about her death comes out before the show ends.
