Afghan Refugees Arrive at US Naval Station in Rota, Spain

Evacuated Afghans arrived at US Naval Station Rota in Rota, Spain, on August 27, as part of Operation Allies Refuge following the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The operation aims to “facilitate the safe departure and relocation of US citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable Afghan populations from Afghanistan.”
