The final flight bringing Afghan evacuees from Ramstein Air Base in Germany to the US departed on October 30.

The last outbound flight from the US Air Force base in Ramstein-Miesenbach marks the completion of Ramstein’s role in what officials said was the largest humanitarian airlift in history.
