Oyebanjo and his wife Didi Lineo had celebrated their only child’s first birthday just a few weeks before his death.

The couple threw their son a Minions-themed party at their home back in May, sharing snaps on their social media accounts.

As he collected the Best International Act award, the musician said: “Before I go on I want to send condolences to my big brother, the actual artist that pave the way for us to be on this stage, D’Banj.”

He added: “My condolences I wish you.”
