Agents of SHIELD's Chloe Bennet shows hair transformation for Powerpuff Girls role
Agents of SHIELD star Chloe Bennet has unveiled a new hair look as she prepares for her role in the new Powerpuff Girls reboot.
The actress will take on the role of Blossom in the upcoming live-action CW show, which will reunite her with SHIELD's Dove Cameron (Bubbles) alongside Yana Perrault (Buttercup).
Taking to her Instagram page to show off her new red locks, Bennet captioned a video showing off her hair: "A female, asian, red headed, superhero (again). f**k yeah.
"Go ahead and normalize being anything you want hunnyyy," she added.

Bennet is perhaps best known for playing Daisy 'Skye' Johnson (Quake) on SHIELD, while Cameron played Ruby Hale on the Marvel series.
The original Powerpuff Girls animated series, which ran between 1998 and 2005, followed the superhero sisters as they regularly defended Townsville from baddies such as Mojo Jojo.

The reboot synopsis reads: "The Powerpuff Girls used to be America's pint-sized superheroes. Now they're disillusioned twenty-somethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime fighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?"
The new series will be written by executive producers Heather Regnier and Diablo Cody, with help from the Arrowverse's Greg Berlanti, while Riverdale director Maggie Kiley will be helming the show.
