Agricultural workers from across Spain gathered in Madrid today (November 24) to voice their anger at sharply rising production costs. Dozens of union members chanted and waved placards outside the Ministry of Agriculture where they were presenting their demands. Rather than passing rising costs onto consumers, union leaders argued for tax breaks and reduced energy prices for the agricultural sector.
