Ahmed Beker murder: Police make new arrest in investigation

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Ahmed Beker in Paddington.

The unnamed 18-year-old has subsequently been released on bail to a date in early August.

The latest arrest follows the police probe into the death of Mr Beker who was stabbed to death in Paddington Green shortly after 9pm on February 26.

Mr Beker was pronouced dead at the scene, despite the paramedics best efforts.

Previously, two men Omar Ahmed, 19, and Jaden Forde, 18, have been charged with the murder of Mr Beker.

Mr Beker’s family revealed he was killed on the same stretch of road as his cousin Josiph Beker in 2019.

Enquiries into the circumstances by homocide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime remain ongoing and police are urging witnesses to come forward.
