Ahsoka's Ariana Greenblatt reunites with Hayden Christensen

Ahsoka stars Ariana Greenblatt and Hayden Christensen have enjoyed a sweet reunion.

The pair, who play young Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker respectively, posed for pictures out of their costumes last week.

"Can a throwback #tbt be just a week old, *asking for a friend," wrote Greenblatt in a social media post, sharing the photos.

Two shots of them together appeared to be taken in some sort of dressing room, with Christensen paying Greenblatt a visit in a sage green jacket and bright blue snapback.

Greenblatt made an appearance in Ahsoka's fifth episode earlier this month.

Responding to a fan praising her performance at the time, the star posted: "Thank you so much, it took an incredible village and I was supported by the best in the universe."

Elsewhere, lead star Rosario Dawson recently explained to Entertainment Weekly why Ahsoka follows in the footsteps of Middle-earth wizard Gandalf.

"In [Star Wars: Rebels], you saw her go to the white, but what I loved is the idea that there was even another level to her," she said.

"[Show creator Dave Filoni] and I talked a lot about Gandalf the Grey and Gandalf the White — talking about that transition and how she's someone very capable and excellent and looked up to as a leader, but she still has levels of development to go."

In The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, fans will recall the magical rebirth of Ian McKellen's character into Gandalf the White after his fatal scuffle with the Balrog in Moria.

Ahsoka is now streaming on Disney+.
