Air Ambulance Interrupts Play at Bristol Cricket Ground

Play was interrupted at the Bristol County Ground in an unusual fashion on September 21, as an air ambulance landed on the field shortly after a county cricket match between Gloucestershire and Durham had started.

According to the Bristol Post, the Great Western Air Ambulance said an emergency at a nearby residential address necessitated the helicopter’s landing.
