Air ambulance lands as child suffers 'potentially serious injuries'

A child has suffered 'potentially serious injuries'. An air ambulance landed in Burslem as part of the emergency services response to the Moorland Road incident.

The alarm was raised at 3.48pm on Friday 1 November.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to an injured patient on Moorland Road. One ambulance and the Midland Air Ambulance from Tatenhill attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a child who was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries which were not life threatening. He received self-care advice from ambulance staff before being discharged at the scene.”
