Update on air ambulance spotted landing on Nuneaton park
An air ambulance landed close to a park in Nuneaton. Locals spotted it hovering in the air above Stockingford late yesterday morning (November 17).
It was then seen landing on what is known locally as Sherbourne Park off Sherbourne Avenue. CoventryLive contacted West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) about the incident.
A WMAS spokesperson said that the air ambulance was part of the 999 response to a medical emergency within the area. For patient confidentiality reasons the ambulance service said it was not in a position to provide any information about the incident.

The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) responds to emergencies across the region. Each mission costs an average of £2,300 and is funded entirely by voluntary donations.
To ensure that it can stay in the skies, regular fund-raising is needed and a new festive campaign has been launched. The Christmas campaign asks people to either make a donation or consider hosting a fund-raising event to help the cause.
At the weekend, Nuneaton and Bedworth air ambulance supporters hosted a fund-raising raffle within the Ropewalk Shopping Centre.
