Air Tanker Drops Water on Raging Green Wattle Creek Fire in New South Wales

An emergency warning was issued for a bushfire threatening homes in the Wollondilly area of New South Wales, on December 5.

Residents in Nattai were urged to seek shelter from the Green Wattle Creek fire.

Those in Warragamba, Silverdale, Werombi, The Oaks, Lakesland, Thirlmere, Buxton, Balmoral, Bargo and Hill Top were told to monitor conditions.

Firefighters worked to protect homes and stop the spread of the blaze.
