Airbnb reveals the most popular hidden seaside destinations in the UK

If, like us, you have been absolutely melting this week, you're probably dreaming of two things. One being a brilliant fan. And the other? Running into the sea with nothing but a bikini and some very ugly water shoes on.

Thankfully, Airbnb have got you covered with the latter, after recently revealing their most popular UK seaside destinations. The accommodation site unveiled ten trending British seaside resorts right now, with a 26% increase in guests using Airbnb for the first time to visit these spots.

Tbh, we'd take anywhere with the sea right now, but there's no harm in putting one of these coastal gems at the top of the list.

  1. Colwyn Bay

  2. Bridlington

  3. Minehead

  4. Bognor Regis

  5. Morecambe

  6. Lowestoft

  7. Tenby

  8. Southend on Sea

  9. Great Yarmouth

  10. Ayr

Speaking of the boom in staycation holidays, Patrick Robinson, Director of Public Policy at Airbnb said:
