Airborne Relief Operations Continue in Rural Areas of Morocco After Deadly Quake

Crews continued airborne relief operations in the town of Ijoukak, Morocco, following a powerful earthquake on September 8, which killed more than 2,800 and injured a further 2,500, according to authorities.

This footage, released by the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, showed the damaged rural town of Ijoukak from the air as relief operations continued, officials said, on Tuesday, September 12.

According to local news reports, the hardest hit were the poor rural villages where aid took longer to arrive.
