Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club/XACT group to begin latest Santa's Tour spectacular
Santa Claus is coming to town in Monklands this weekend as he kicks off a tour of the area.
The Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club/XACT group will bring their very special festive guest to families from this Sunday, December 1.
Similar to last year's Santa Tour, Father Christmas will be stopping at specific points where you "can come and see him, share a high five and take a picture next to his sleigh".
As well as giving people of all ages an early Christmas treat, the tour will also raise funds for a variety of good local causes.
Iain Jamieson, chair of Airdrie & Coatbridge 41 Club/XACT, told Lanarkshire Live: "We are looking forward to this year's tour, and hopefully the weather will be kind for everyone.

"To help you easily find Santa, each planned stop has a link to a map showing you exactly where Santa’s sleigh will stop.
"It’s impossible for us to provide a time for each stop, or how long we will be there, as this is dependent on the number of children waiting to see Santa.
"We would recommend tracking Santa on the link here and making your way to the nearest stop as Santa heads to your location.

"Please remember, Santa’s sleigh is pretty big, so don’t park at the designated stop, and leave plenty of room for Santa and his sleigh to park safely.
"Our volunteers will be collecting for local good causes and any donations are gratefully received."
