Airstrikes Hit Hospital in Kafr Takharim in Idlib Province

At least 15 people were killed, including a woman and an elderly man, in airstrikes on Dwaila town, near Kafr Takharim town in Idlib province, on April 25, pro-opposition sources said.

Victims were taken to a nearby hospital called Wassin Hasno in Kafr Takharim, where warplanes launched another attack on the hospital, leaving the hospital out of service, according to opposition groups.

The strikes damaged the emergency entrance and most parts of the hospital, according to the Idlib Health Directorate.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported on the strikes.

This video was shared by the Idlib branch of the Syrian Civil Defense group, more commonly known as the White Helmets, and it shows a volunteer running through streets at night before a large explosion can be heard.

The White Helmet volunteers said that two missiles hit the hospital around 2:00 am in the morning, injuring several people, including themedical staff. Credit: Syrian Civil Defense via Storyful
