AJ Pritchard's girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has hinted she'd love to join Strictly Come Dancing.

The dancer and model has been dating the former Strictly pro for the last two years, and said he's been showing her the ropes.

"I’d love to be in Strictly, that would definitely be a dream," she told The Sun.

"AJ is actually teaching me to do ballroom and Latin at the moment.

"Because I am a dancer anyway, it feels so weird to learn a different style I’ve never learnt before, but I love it."

Speaking of AJ's teaching, she said: "It’s amazing, he’s very patient which is good.

"He’s an amazing teacher. He doesn’t get irritated if I can’t do the steps.

"I think I just make him laugh because I can’t do it properly!"

AJ spent four years as a professional on the BBC show, before leaving to try other ventures. He recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Abbie was recently burned in a horrific accident that meant she had to receive multiple skin grafts.

Speaking about the incident, AJ explained the couple were following a YouTube hack where a glass bottle is cut in half with a burning piece of string in order to make a vase.

Abbie was engulfed in a ball of fire and left with third-degree burns, but is now recovering.

Discussing how the former Hollyoaks star helped with her recovery, she said: "He was by my side from the moment I came out of hospital, cooking for me, rubbing creams and moisturisers into my scars four times a day, and telling me I was beautiful, not letting me lift a finger.

"He was keeping so calm and upbeat for me, but I was an emotional mess and I wanted him to be as devastated as I was."
