After the tallying of Turkey’s April 16 constitutional referendum, Justice and Development Party (AKP) supporters took to Istanbul’s Uskudar District to celebrate the “yes vote” granting Turkish President Recep Erdogan expanded executive powers.

Opposition parties voiced concern over allegations of fraud and vote tampering, claiming a manipulation rate ranging from three to four percent. In this context, reports say that the referendum passed by approximately 51 percent, with over 90 percent of ballots having already been counted. Credit: Instagram/dlrsh via Storyful
