Alaska Airlines Flight Attendant Sings 'Twelve Days of Christmas' for Passengers on Delayed Red-Eye

Winter time is known for derailed holiday travel plans, but one flight attendant was determined to make sure her passengers remained entertained, regardless of the two-hour delay they were facing.

Terrence Jones was on board an Alaska Airlines flight headed from Seattle, Washington, to Atlanta, Georgia, when he received the news their plane would be delayed. Passengers became increasingly frustrated as more time passed, so the flight attendants appeared at the front of the plane and began performing their own rendition of “Twelve Days of Christmas.”

One flight attendant sang the Alaska Airlines version of the Christmas classic into the plane’s loudspeaker system, while two others stood behind her in Christmas sweaters and hats, pantomiming the lyrics as the song went along.

Although their flight was off to a bumpy start, the Alaska Airlines staff managed to improve the passenger’s experience with their upbeat holiday cheer. “When the lady came to sing to us and the staff pitched in behind her to provide some backup, it raised spirits and morale immensely,” Jones told Storyful.
