Alaska Coast Guard Rescues People and Dogs From Pink Flamingo Raft

Three adults and two dogs were rescued by the US Coast Guard near Kodiak, Alaska, on Saturday, June 5, after they became stranded on offshore rocks with their pink flamingo raft.

The group had been relaxing with their animal-themed watercraft before the wind swept them from a creek into Monashka Bay, according to the coast guard. On board was a woman celebrating her 30th birthday, according to a local news report.
