Alaskan Landscape Covered in Snow on Winter Solstice After Daily Snowfall Record Broken
A fresh dumping of snow made a beautiful landscape near Anchorage, Alaska, on December 21, two days after record snowfall in the area.
Anchorage resident Jon Kreye captured the natural landscape at nearby Eklutna Lake adorned with a carpet of snow.
The daily snowfall record for December 19 was broken with eight inches recorded that day, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
