Alaskan Officials Stock Lake With Thousands of Rainbow Trout at North Pole

The Alaska Department of Fish and Game (AKDF&G) stocked the North Pole’s Chena Lake with thousands of rainbow trout on Monday, June 6, according to officials.

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation Department reported the AKDF&G had recently put 3,500 rainbow trouts into the lake, and said the weekend would be great for fishing.
