Albert's Schloss horror as woman badly hurt in attack and staff 'extremely concerned'
Two women have been arrested after another woman was left badly hurt following a "serious assault" at a Birmingham bar. Pub goers reported horror scenes at Albert’s Schloss on Chamberlain Square on Saturday night, November 23.
The incident happened around 8pm and the victim is thought to be recovering from her injuries in hospital. The bar is close to the city's German Christmas Market and would have been busy at the time.
A spokesperson for Albert’s Schloss said staff intervened immediately when the disorder broke out. Bosses added the safety of punters was their top priority.

"We are extremely concerned by the serious incident that took place between two guests in our venue on Saturday evening," a statement read. "Thankfully, the swift response of our trained security and management team ensured the injured guest received immediate treatment and care.
"We are fully supporting the various authorities as they investigate the matter and ensuring our teams receive full support. The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority."
A West Midlands Police statement added: "Two women have been arrested following disorder at a bar in Birmingham city centre. We were called to reports of disorder taking place at a bar in Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, at around 8pm last night.
"A woman was wounded and treated for injuries. The two women were arrested on suspicion of serious assault and they remain in custody."
