Yahoo News Aldi issues warning to shoppers buying wine in stores from next week
Aldi's critically acclaimed wine - which sold out last Christmas - is being brought back to stores this year. The Specially Selected Cairanne will once again be reduced from £8.49 to just £3.49, saving shoppers an incredible 58 per cent.
Selling out in record time last year, it was hailed by experts as the ‘wine deal of the year’. Last year, this critically acclaimed French red sold out in just four days after wine expert, Jane MacQuitty of The Times, hailed it as ‘Aldi’s Christmas present to the nation’.
From 2 to 8 December, shoppers can snag this rich and layered red, bursting with aromas of forest fruits, plums, black cherry, and damsons, and boasting a decadent mocha and spice finish. A blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 5% Carignan, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to festive feasts and cosy nights in.

Aldi told Birmingham Live ahead of the product's return: "Head to Aldi stores from 2nd – 8th December to grab bottles of the Specially Selected Cairanne for just £3.49. But be warned: blink and you’ll miss it!"
