While summer might feel like a distant prospect, it’s never too early to start preparing.

Now Aldi is getting us warmed up for the hot season by bringing back its sell-out Spa Pool hot tub – and you can pre-order it this weekend.

The budget retailer has promised to sell 50 per cent more tubs than last year, due to popular demand.

It will also be imposing a limit of one tub per customer when the product is available online this Sunday (March 25).

For those of you who missed it, Aldi’s wallet-friendly Spa Pool sent budget lovers into a frenzy back in April 2018 and sold out in minutes.

A hot tub can cost anywhere from £3,000 to £10,000, but the retail giant’s offering will set you back just £280 and matches a similar offer from B&M.

The inflatable 795-litre pool, which is suitable for both indoors and outdoors use, can easily fit 4 people and includes 120 air jets and a 2200W heater (you heard us right) – so is perfect for almost any weather.

Aldi director Julie Ashfield said: “Last year, we saw unprecedented demand for our Spa Pool and are thrilled to be bringing more back for our customers to enjoy this spring.

"A long-time spa staple and celebrity must-have, a luxury spa pool is perfect for spring and summer nights with friends or relaxing after a tiring day.

If you miss out this weekend, don’t fret. The deluxe Spa Pool is available in stores from Thursday, March 29.

And if last year is anything to go by, the tubs won’t be around for long – so you ought to be quick.
