Aldi Is Selling Crab Rangoon Dip And It's All I Want To Eat
I fully believe there are few better inventions on this Earth than crab rangoon. They're crunchy, creamy, sometimes sweet, and just all-around delicious. I would eat 50 of them at a time if I could, so you can imagine my joy when I spied Aldi selling Crab Rangoon Dip.
OK, actually Instagram account @aisleofshame spotted Aldi selling this Park Street Crab Rangoon Dip, but I spied them spying it. If you've never had a crab rangoon before, it's basically a mixture of cream cheese, sometimes green onion, and imitation crab all mixed up and put in a wonton wrapper. That wrapper is then deep fried and voila! Chinese take-out deliciousness.

Aldi's dip is made to taste like the inside of a crab rangoon, but other people who have tried it have noted that in addition to being sweet and creamy, it's also a bit spicy. Honestly, count me in! Fusion nachos!
As for how else to serve in, when I make the dip homemade (yes, that was a flex) I usually fry up my own wonton strips or use crackers. When I order crab rangoon on take-out I also rip them in half and use them to scoop up rice, so this would probably be a delicious addition to stir fry or rice dishes as well.
This was part of Aldi's Favorite Finds for January, which means it will only be sticking around for a limited time, so if you like it, you should stock up. And if not...well, there's always take-out.
