Aldi shoppers claim £3.79 'yummy' pizza is 'better than a takeaway'
Aldi customers claim that one of the supermarket's new pizzas is superior to a takeaway version. The budget supermarket recently launched a range of wood-fired pizzas as part of its 'Specially Selected' collection.
This includes the addition of the 'Chicken Florentine Wood Fired Pizza'. Priced at £3.79, it has a stone-baked pizza base with sourdough, topped with Béchamel sauce, mozzarella cheese, cooked sage and thyme British chicken, spinach and Gran Levanto cheese shavings.
It boasts a 10-minute cooking time and can serve between two to three people. Sharing a picture of the product on its official Instagram account, Aldi said: "Transport your tastebuds to Italy with our new 'Specially Selected Wood Fired Pizzas'.
