Chocolate lovers are disheartened as Aldi discontinues a fan-favourite chocolate bar. The supermarket chain has confirmed that it will no longer stock the coconut flavour of Dairyfine Spirals.

Concerns about the chocolate bar's disappearance from shops were raised by Aldi shoppers, after Dani Norris asked in the Aldi UK Shoppers Facebook group: "Hey guys does anyone know if Aldi still sells the coconut spirals? Does anyone know anything similar if not? ".

Responding to this query, Lucy Kate said: "I haven't seen them in a while I love these! I think they are extremely popular," reports the Express.

In the same Facebook thread, Tracy Morgan commented: "I haven't seen the coconut ones for a while but I love the chocolate ones."

She added: "There's a fairly recent new Knoppers coconut bar that's really nice if you haven't tried that one."

Aldi's website features their double chocolate Dairyfine Spirals. A seven-pack is available online priced at £1.89. The same pricing applies for the seven-pack hazelnut version.

Although the coconut variant remains listed on Aldi's website, it bears the unfortunate message of "out of stock".

However, the supermarket continues to provide alternatives such as chocolate and hazelnut versions of the Dairyfine Spirals, which have been well-received by some coconut fans.

A spokesperson for Aldi told The Sun: "We continually review our range of products to make sure we're meeting the needs of Aldi shoppers."
