Aldi shoppers love this 'yummy' pasta dish and you'll never guess the ingredients

Aldi shoppers are going crazy for this green pasta, which the budget supermarket has shared on social media. The bargain retailer shared a recipe on its Instagram over the weekend for the perfect "comfort food" and yes you heard right, it's green.

The recipe was initially shared by Mob and has the perfect mix of spinach, artichoke, and lots of cheddar for a golden, crispy top. Mob described the recipe as a "one pot wonder" and shared their secret method for creating the cheesiest spinach and artichoke pasta, that is easy and quick to make.

To make the dish you simply need to whizz the sauce (spinach, artichoke, milk and garlic) together until extra smooth and pour it over the pasta. Let it bubble away until thickened and stir through the cheeses and artichoke, then top with some extra cheese before grilling.

The recipe is the perfect comfort dish of cheesy pasta with a hint of goodness, and what's better, you can get all the ingredients you need from Aldi. Aldi shared the recipe online, the post read: "If you’re looking for comfort food that’s both easy and delicious you need to check out the latest @mob recipe. This vibrant cheesy, green pasta dazzles as bright at Elphaba’s emerald hue.
