Aldi shoppers were pleased to notice a popular winter product has come back in stock. Somewhat resembling Lush's Snow Fairy, the Winter Angel shower gel has made its comeback at the supermarket.

Sharing her discovery on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page, Keisha posted: "Back in Aldi for £1.79. The Sweet Angel is an [alternative] of Snow Fairy from Lush. Never managed to get any last year!"

The strawberry-scented shower gel has been described online as "sweet and delightful" and comes in substantial 500ml bottles. Purchasing the same quantity from Lush would set you back by around £23 – meaning the Aldi version comes with an impressive saving of over £21.

When the product first launched, it quickly became a sensation among Aldi shoppers. A shopper remarked: "I need these! I managed to get a Sweet Angel last year and it was so good!!" Another chimed in with excitement: "OMG! I NEED TO STOCK UP!"

A third shared their enthusiasm saying: "So glad Sweet Angel is back!"

Another person shared: "I bought quite a few bottles last year and I've not long run out so this is perfect timing!" Meanwhile, someone else told their friend the news by tagging them in the video, commenting: "It's back!"

In addition to the popular Sweet Angel, Aldi has introduced a brand-new fragrance this year – Sweet Maple. Described on the 500ml packaging as an "enchanting" combination featuring "natural ginger extract and moisturisers".

Fans have been quick to draw comparisons with Yog Nog, another limited edition festive product from Lush. The sparkling gel, which includes maple syrup water, retails a 585g bottle for £26.

However, those planning to stock up should act fast as these gels are located in the SpecialBuys aisle and stocks will be limited. In other news, shoppers have discovered more alternatives to the popular pink product.

A Primark store in Scotland unveiled the discount store's new £3.50 range and hinted it would seem ' familiar' to Snow Fairy fans.

Shoppers can purchase the Frost Angel 'shower syrup' or 'whipped shower foam' for £3.50. Additionally, a body polish and foaming body scrub are available for £4.
