Aldi shoppers rush to buy £1.79 shower gel that 'smells like' Lush Snow Fairy

Lush shoppers get excited for the return of the Snow Fairy range to land every year. The limited edition products are reminders to shoppers that Christmas is just around the corner. And shoppers are certain they have their hands on a very similar Aldi product.

The distinctive bubblegum and candyfloss Lush scent comes in many forms including shower gels, bath bombs and bubble bars. The products can be quite costly with prices ranging from £3 to £55. A Snow Fairy 275g shower costs £15.00.

Shoppers have rushed to a Facebook bargain group to share an Aldi product that they are comparing to the Snow Fairy Lush range. Posting to Facebook, Evelyn Ximenes uploaded a picture of a pink shower called 'Sweet Angel' and captioned it "For Lush lovers smells like Fairy Range. Aldi £1.79."

The social media post had over 350 comments with fans of the product sharing their experiences of using it. One commenter said: "I picked one up [on Wednesday] it smells just like snow fairy." Another added "This literally smells like snow fairy I've got some."

Others were not as lucky as one commenter has been unable to get her hands on the shower gel. She replied: "I can't get this anyway, I've tried two different Aldi's, I really want some for my daughter for Christmas. Both shops I've tried haven't had it arrive." A further comment read: "Ooh I'll be there tomorrow bet it fly's out always my luck xx"

On the Aldi website they describe the product as "beautifully scented" with a "strawberry extract". They add: "This sweet and delightful shower gel is the perfect addition to your daily routine. Feel and smell fresh with the help of this sweetly scented shower gel."
