Aldi's perfect festive coffee recipe for this festive season

Aldi have found the perfect Christmas drink ahead of the festive season. There is nothing people love more than a festive coffee or hot chocolate in the winter months, whether it's pumpkin spiced or salted caramel, well shoppers will be pleased to know Aldi have found the perfect recipe and shared the secret ingredients.

The bargain retailer shared its secret recipe for the festive drink on their Instagram account. They captioned the video: "The countdown to Christmas is on and we’ve got just the beverage to make your December even more merry and bright."

Aldi shared a video showing the simple method to making the festive drink. You simply need to prepare your double shot of espresso and add ice to a glass, then pour in the espresso and milk. To finish off you'll need to add your sugar cookie syrup (ingredients to make below) and top with whipped cream and festive sprinkles, easy.

Here is everything you need to make the recipe

x2 shots Espresso
200ml Milk
Whipped Cream
Ice Cubes
2tbsp Homemade Sugar Cookie Syrup (Combine Granulated White Sugar, Brown Sugar, Water, Vanilla Extract & Almond Extract in a saucepan)

Method

Prepare your double shot of espresso
Add ice to a glass and pour in the espresso and milk
Add your sugar cookie syrup
Top with whipped cream and festive sprinkles
