Aldi's 'viral' clothing line set to return with brand new sneakers for under £10
Aldi is gearing up to expand its viral clothing collection with a variety of new items soon - including a newly designed pair of sneakers for under £10.
The supermarket giant's first foray into fashion made its debut back in 2021, where it quickly caught the attention of fans. Dubbed Aldimania, the clothing line, which features Aldi's distinctive branding, quickly sent social media users into a frenzy.
Later this month will bring a whole new variety of merch in the sell-out range. Dropping exclusively in the Specialbuys aisle from August 25, the latest collection will feature a few new comfy clothing and footwear items, with prices starting from just £5.99.
The main highlight is sure to be the brand new canvas sneakers that will be priced at £8.99 a pair. These "on-trend" sneakers have been designed in a low rise style and will feature the Aldi branding on the side.
Crafted from comfortable textile lining with a rubber sole, they are available in two colourways - rainbow and sleek blue. Shoppers will be able to nab them in sizes ranging from a size 7-11.
Aldi's footwear has a habit of proven popular with shoppers, as its Aldimania trainers in 2022 quickly sold out not long after they debuted. The sell-out, multi-colour trainers were included in the supermarket's leisurewear dubbed "Aldidas" by shoppers.
Another pair of footwear up for grabs from August 25 will be the Chunky Sliders. Priced at £5.99, these sliders are said to be "perfect for holidays or lounging around the house".

Also available in two colourways - rainbow (sizes 4-9) and black (sizes 7-11) - these sliders have been crafted with a comfy, cushioned sole and have been made with sustainable plastic, making them better for the environment.
Lastly, there will also be an Aldi branded pyjama set in a multi-coloured design and S-L for ladies, while men can get a blue coloured pair in sizes S - XL. Both sets come complete with a long-sleeved top and trousers, both which feature the Aldi logo all over.
Aldi is not the only supermarket to expand into offering clothing to customers. Rival Lidl also made its way into the world of fashion, with its very own 2021 trainers being hailed as "more popular" than Balenciaga and Yeezy.
Aldimania is the budget supermarket's own fashion label that was first launched back in 2021 to offer shoppers affordable clothing items. Since debuting with a range of sportswear, it has since gone on to offer the likes of festival fashion and Christmas clothing items.
The latest Aldi clothing collection will be priced from £5.999 and will be available to buy exclusively in stores from Sunday, August 25. However, as with all Specialbuys, once they are gone, they are gone.
