Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has discussed Ant McPartlin's return to the show.

She appeared on Loose Women today (February 22) and took some time to reflect on the co-presenter's importance to BGT and how everyone involved felt better for having him around.

Speaking on today's panel, Alesha explained: "We've worked together now for, I think, 7 years and when we get together it is like a family vibe in the studio and it just feels good and it's so great, and everyone's happy and back to our naughty selves.

"There's a lot of love and, I think, you ladies know the more you work with people, the more you build up relationships and care about each other as people – you're not just doing your job, you care about each other's wellbeing, it's no different on our show," she added.

Following Ant's break from TV, he returned to Britain's Got Talent filming earlier this year to resume his presenting partnership with Declan Donnelly, but upon taking to the stage, he found himself holding back the tears.

ITV's Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12:30pm, whilst Britain's Got Talent will return for a new series this spring.
