Alessandra Ambrosio's lilac sports bra is giving us major spring feels

Sure, it may *officially* now be spring, but that doesn't mean it feels like it. And it definitely doesn't on a rainy day in the UK. But while we're waiting for the weather to warm up and the sun to finally make an appearance, we should be taking a leaf out of Alessandra Ambrosio's style book. The model and fitness enthusiast took to Instagram yesterday to post a series of photos of her latest workout and her outfit of choice was giving us plenty of spring-style inspo.

First up though, we have to admit we were impressed with her exercise of choice – boxing. Known for being a high-intensity, high-energy activity, Alessandra looked like she had great form in some of the action shots she shared. But it was her gym clothes, or more specifically her sports bra, that we were really focused on.

Alessandra's 'fit in question was comprised of a black long-sleeve extreme crop top and black workout trousers worn with coordinating black Nike trainers. She added a pop of colour with a long line lilac sports bra tank, though the black piping on the top along the bust, hem, and seams made sure to coordinate with the largely neutral look.

Alessandra was also wearing black boxing gloves in the first two pics, and she captioned the snaps "Knock out baby 💥🥊" in reference to her workout. The gloves were emblazoned with the Alo Yoga logo, and we also peeped the logo on her trousers too. As a brand partner, it makes sense the model is repping the label, and she made sure to call out her association tagging Alo and adding "#alopartner" in the caption.

Lilac is a huge trend this season and was spotted all over the spring/summer 23 catwalks at design houses including Victoria Beckham, Brandon Maxwell, and Cecilie Bahnsen. The soft pastel colour can be tricky to integrate into day-to-day dressing, but gym wear can be a great place to start. Admittedly, a quick look through my sportswear drawer shows a lot of black options, but Alessandra is proving bright colours are a growing trend in gym wear, and Eva Longoria wore a neon pink sports bra to work out just the other day.
