Alex Jones has shared a sweet snap of her growing baby bump.

The One Show host is currently pregnant with her third child with husband Charlie Thomson and gave fans a look at her bump on Instagram Stories this week.

Posing in a black dress, she took a picture of herself in the mirror, captioning it: "getting bigger".

The 44-year-old is expecting a baby girl, and previously spoke of her excitement of adding a daughter to her brood.

"Really excited! It’s a huge gift," she told Daily Star.

"I suppose deep down I would never have said it because we were so lucky to have two lovely boys, but having a girl was always something that was there. I just thought our time had passed and it wasn’t going to happen."

The pair, who married in 2015, already have two sons: 4-year-old Teddy and Kit, who is 2 years old.

"It was a funny thing because we hadn't necessarily planned on a third," she said. "We were so grateful to have the two boys and we just thought, 'There you are'."

Speaking to Daily Mail, the star admitted her pregnancy was "a huge surprise", adding, "when we also realised that it was a girl, we were just ecstatic. Because I don't know, it wasn't something that we ever expected, but actually three feels great and nice."

Alex also admitted that she missed the signs of pregnancy, thinking it was just because she had switched to a vegan diet.

"I just felt really tired but, of course, in hindsight I was pregnant.

"I thought it was the veganism making me drained of energy but it wasn't," she said.

"This is ridiculous in a third pregnancy, but I didn't realise the clues were there because I honestly blamed everything on the veganism. I was so tired and hungry all the time and I thought it was that."

The One Show airs Mondays through Fridays at 7pm on BBC One.
