Over the past 15 years, Alexa Chung's varied career has involved interviewing rock stars on Sunday mornings to teen audiences across the UK, modelling for the likes of Miu Miu, becoming the muse for a cult Mulberry bag, cementing herself as a staple fixture of FROWs from Burberry to Celine and founding her eponymous fashion label.
Over that time, she's amassed both fans and fascination, as ELLE discovered when we were inundated with questions for Chung, after she agreed to take part in a game of Ask Me Anything, even receiving a question from her Next In Fashion co-host Tan France.
Answering the series of fan questions from the comfort of her home during lockdown - wearing 'snazzy leather trousers' from her own line - Chung recalled staging a fake wedding on a Maldivian beach with her famous set of pals and the time she thought Beyoncé was waving to her at the Met Gala, only to learn that she... was not.
From the silly (what spice would Chung consider herself to be), to the serious with her advice for anyone dealing with heartbreak, Chung covered a whole lot during her time with ELLE.
Even avid fans of the designer might not yet know that her favourite TV show was a result of her boyfriend, Orson Fry, nudging her to give it another go after she refused at first, or about the time she was gently encouraged to leave her T4 hosting duties and go home, after attempting to pull an all-nighter.
Plus, for those who love her famed and acclaimed style, the 36-year-old gave us a peek into what her Fall '20 collection entails - including the 'dream cardigan' Chung holds up for all to see, which is available now. More of ALEXACHUNG's Fall collection will be arriving throughout this month and October.
