Is Alexander Isak fit to start for Newcastle vs Fulham? Injury latest and FPL update
Newcastle United are back on the road in the Premier League this weekend when they travel to Craven Cottage. Eddie Howe will be hoping his side are able to maintain their unbeaten start to the top-flight campaign but may have to do so without star striker Alexander Isak.
The Swedish international has been an ever-present since joining the Magpies from Real Sociedad, finishing last season as the Toon's top goal scorer with 25 goals in all competitions and two assists to his name.
It's been a bit of a slow start to the current campaign for Isak, with one goal and one assist in his first four Premier League games, having started every top-flight fixture so far this season. However, the Magpies' striker is a doubt for the clash with Fulham this weekend having injured himself on international duty

Here, ChronicleLive takes a look at whether the forward will be able to feature against the Cottagers.
What has been said about Isak's injury?
Isak is touch and go for the clash at Fulham tomorrow - with a late fitness test scheduled awaiting him ahead of the encounter in the capital.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Howe said: "Let's see with Alex, hopefully it is not too bad. We’ll find out more today. The ball grazed his eye and we felt at the time that was the main reason for him coming off but he also got a foot injury in that first half. It’s a combination of the two."
Will Isak be fit to face Fulham in Gameweek 5?
Fantasy Premier League gives Isak a 75 per cent chance of playing due to a 'knock'. However, Howe's comments in his pre-match press conference give little away, though the Magpies boss is known for playing the odd mind game here and there.
Fulham is one team that Isak failed to score against last season, missing the 3-0 win at Craven Cottage, while also drawing a blank in the 1-0 win at St. James' Park, so he will be hoping to return to the scoresheet when Newcastle Chelsea take on Marco Silva's men.
