Alison Hammond has kept us laughing through lockdown, from brightening our days on This Morning to making viral Tik Tok videos with her teenage son, and now you can enjoy her on your radio too. She's sitting in for Rylan Clark-Neal on his BBC Radio 2 Saturday show for the next three weeks.

Posting on Instagram, the presenter told her fans the exciting news and invited them to message in for a shout out.

She wrote in the caption: "So have you heard the news? I’m looking after the @Rylan show on @bbcradio2 for the next three weeks and would love to hear from you. Make sure you email me for a shout out to rylan@bbc.co.uk."

If you're wondering what to expect from the first of the hour-long shows, airing live this Saturday at 3.00pm, the self-titled 'genius of keeping cool' is looking for even more heatwave hacks than the brilliant ones she shared on This Morning.

Alison told followers: "Also looking for your cooling down hacks and your inspirational quotes that you live by. See you Saturday 3 pm on @bbcradio2 🙌🏾."

So, it's safe to say the hour will be filled with some uplifting and positive words of wisdom, and some much-needed cooling down tricks!

We'll miss being able to see Alison's beaming face, but we're sure we'll be able to hear her smile through the radio, and we'll certainly get to enjoy her infectious laugh.
