Alison Hammond's gruelling workout routine after losing 11 stone in inspiring health transformation
This Morning star Alison Hammond has openly confessed to fans that she was "dying" at her heaviest weight of 28 stone.
The beloved 49-year-old presenter, known for her infectious laugh on the ITV show, has embarked on an impressive health transformation, managing to shed a whopping 11 stone following a lifestyle overhaul.
Her hard-earned results were thanks to an intense exercise regime and dietary changes. Alison recently took to Instagram to offer followers a look inside her challenging fitness routine, which includes an assortment of activities such as weightlifting and boxing, the Mirror reports.

Alison's personal trainer initially posted the workout montage on his page, and she subsequently shared it on her Instagram stories. Dripping with sweat, the footage depicts her vigorously engaging in various exercises like kettlebell swings and medicine ball routines.
The original upload was captioned: "The Queen in today, short on time so quick 45-minute circuit and done! "
Adding a black heart emoji to her repost, this gesture sparked a flurry of support from her audience. Admirers heaped accolades on her progress, with one saying: "Alison looks freaking amazing @alisonhammond55 get it girl [fire emojis] I need to join you."
Another voiced their newfound inspiration as they gushed: "This has just given me the motivation I needed. Thank you @alisonhammond55 and @luimancini."
In a candid revelation last week, Alison shared the humiliation she faced when she had to purchase two seats on flights due to her size before her weight loss. Co-hosting with Dermot O'Leary on the morning show, she shared her personal experiences during a discussion about whether passengers who are overweight should buy two tickets.
The TV personality opened up about her previous weight challenges in a candid discussion with Tom Swarbrick and Gyles Brandreth. The star revealed that at her heaviest, she weighed nearly 28 stone and often purchased an additional plane seat to avoid encroaching on others' space due to her size.
Narrating her past experiences, Alison confided: "I was nearly 28 stone I'll be honest with you and that is morbidly obese and I used to buy an extra seat because I didn't want to put anyone in a situation where I was touching them."
She remembered a particularly mortifying incident that led to positive change, saying: "I was made to feel uncomfortable on one occasion when I was so close to someone's seat and they asked to move but they ended up moving me into first class."
Alison further explained her coping mechanism and her reason for change, stating: "It was embarrassing the whole thing and from that moment I just started buying two seats. I don't do it anymore because I've lost a bit of timber but not everyone can afford to do that."
Within the context of her significant weight loss, she acknowledged her former health crisis, adding: "I had to lose weight because I was dying, I really was dying. People will still say I'm big but now I'm 17 stone rather than 28 stone and I'm comfortable with telling you my weight."
