Alternative for Germany Rally Draws Large Counter-Protest in Berlin

Various left-wing groups and music promoters staged a counter-demonstration to an Alternative for Germany rally in Berlin on May 27, as part of a “bass versus hatred” initiative.

AfD supporters gathered at Berlin Hauptbahnhof station, where party leaders gave speeches criticizing the immigration policy of chancellor Angela Merkel.
