Scots traditional music favourites Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham will perform at Airdrie’s town hall next month.

The hugely popular duo of fiddler Aly and accordion player Phil are getting set to take to the stage at Sir John Wilson town hall on Stirling Street on Sunday, August 11.

Described as “the epitome of excellence in the world of traditional music”, their show promises “musical magic and quick-witted humour”.

They have been touring together for nearly four decades and created six albums as a duo, and the pair have been honoured for their lifelong contributions to music – including Aly bringing his traditional music knowledge to several TV shows and Phil being in great demand as a composer and presenter.

Airdrie’s show begins at 7.30pm and admission costs £22 and £21 for under-18s and over-60s.

Tickets are available from or by calling the box office on 01698 274545.
