Amanda Barrie, Sheila Hancock and Lionel Blair have scooped Oldie Of The Year awards.

The Oldie Magazine’s annual gongs celebrate “the best of the older generation”.

Former Coronation Street, Celebrity Big Brother and Carry On star Barrie, 83, won The Keep Calm And Carry On Award.

Entertainer Blair, 90, was named The Lionel d’Or Oldie Of The Year.

Sheila Hancock, 85, and To The Manor Born actor Peter Bowles, 82, won Leading Lady and Leading Man.

Author Judith Kerr, 95, best known for The Tiger Who Came To Tea and the Mog series of books, scooped Oldie Tigress We’d Like To Have To Tea.

Other winners at the ceremony, held at London restaurant Simpson’s In The Strand, included The Naked Ape author Desmond Morris, graphic designer Margaret Calvert, and Lady Avon.
