Amanda Holden confesses Alan Carr shielded her with an umbrella while she 'done a wee'
Amanda Holden has shared a hilarious story about her celebrity friend, Alan Carr, who once had to shield her with an umbrella while she relieved herself in public.
The revelation came during Heart Breakfast on Friday, September 13, where Amanda and co-host Jason King were discussing an interview with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, reports the Mirror.
It came ahead of the final episode of The Grand Tour, 'One For The Road', which aired that day. The conversation shifted to the trio's accommodation while filming in remote areas worldwide. JK assumed that the petrolheads stayed in luxurious hotels each night.

However, Clarkson disclosed that they "slummed it" for 20 years, even having to do their business in awkward public places. This confession led Amanda to share her own experience.
Amanda confessed: "Oh my gosh. That makes me laugh a lot because again, I'm just gonna refer to me and Alan Carr. Alan Carr has had to put an umbrella up while I've had crouched down and done a wee in a car park."
She added: "So I feel their pain. I've not done a number two yet, but there's time." JK, bursting into laughter, told his candid co-host that he "wasn't expecting that".
Amanda, a judge on Britain's Got Talent, first became friends with the Changing Ends writer in 2009 when she appeared on his Channel 4 show, Chatty Man.
Since then, Amanda has made seven more appearances, and the pair have become "such good friends", according to Alan.
The pair became so close that they even starred in a TV show together, Amanda and Alan's Italian Job, where they joined forces to renovate Italian homes, further solidifying their close bond.
In July, reports emerged that Amanda was actively trying to help her friend land a judging spot on Britain's Got Talent. According to a source, Amanda believed that having Alan alongside her and Simon would be a "winning formula".
A source revealed to Closer magazine: "Bruno is one of Simon's closest friends, but it's not firmed up that he'll be back next year. With that in mind, Amanda is pushing for Alan and will stop at nothing to get him the gig."
