Amanda Holden dress is most complained about TV of 2017

Believe it or not, Amanda Holden is the most controversial person to have graced our tellyboxes so far this year. (Only when she's wearing certain clothes, mind you.)

Yes, somewhat surprisingly, the Britain's Got Talent panellist is officially responsible for the most complained about moment on TV so far this year, according to Ofcom.

It all started back in June during the show's live semi-finals, when Amanda was revealed as a woman with breasts – shock horror – after wearing a plunging Julien MacDonald dress.

The dress in question managed to draw an impressive 663 complaints in total across three months, but the broadcasting watchdog decided against taking viewers' outrage any further.
