Amanda Holden has laughed off the backlash she's received for her 'risky' outfits during the 'Britain's Got Talent' semi-finals

When Britain’s Got Talent‘s finals roll around every year, you’d think fans would fixate on which act was their favourite, or perhaps the inevitable slip-ups that go hand-in-hand with live television. But according to judge Amanda Holden, viewers tend to want talk her boobs more than anything.

“My t*ts seem to become the show’s biggest talking point every year,” she recently told The Sun, before joking that her husband doesn’t seem to be as put out about her ‘risky’ outfits as the general public.

“We’ve had plenty of complaints apparently but none from home, let me tell you,” the 48-year-old laughed.

On Wednesday 29 May, Holden wore an off-white dress that was sheer down much of her right side. Created by Lebanese fashion designer Nicolas Jebran, it featured a spider web design - embroidered with flowers and thin tree branches - across one of her breasts.

Ofcom received nine complaints about the look following the episode, which described it as ‘vulgar’ and disrespectful to young viewers.

Addressing the backlash, Holden teased that it was one of her most modest dresses to date ironically, because she wore a nipple cover underneath it.

“That was a first for me,” she quipped. “I was thinking that it’s a family show and people talk about my boobs every year, so I thought I would wear a nipple cover.

“I’d now happily put it on eBay. But do you know what my children do with them? I get home and take them off, and you know those toys that you throw on to the wall and they stick then slide off?

"They throw them at the kitchen cabinets and play games with my nipple covers. We have lovely games.”
